PERSONAL INFO
Fall, 2009
Spouse – Linda Patterson Jones and I were married on June 26th, 1976. She earned a B.S. in
Computer Science from Villanova University. Linda has been a wonderful
support to me over the years as well as a fantastic mother of our two
children. She recently taught tennis to homeschooled children and Gold
Cup Tennis to middle and high school students.
Children – Lisa graduated from Eastern University Magna Cum Laude in May of 2007. She
majored in Youth Ministry with minors in Communications and Biblical
Studies. Lisa is very interested in Italy and mission work. She is
employed as a nanny for a family with two young children in the West
Chester area. Lisa has begun graduate studies to obtain a Certificate
in Public Relations and Journalism at Villanova University.
- Christopher is a junior at Henderson High School in the West Chester Area School
District. He is majoring in academics, sports (tennis), and music (piano).
Chris is enrolled in three AP courses this year. In tennis, he played
varsity 2nd doubles as a sophomore, competing in every match for the
Ches-Mont champion Warriors and finishing with a record of 11 - 1. Chris
is starting to look at colleges, having already taken tours at Boston
University and Wesleyan College.
Pets - Our dog's name is Cody. He's a 10 year old Bichon Frise. Cody has diabetes, cataracts,
and hip dysplasia, but manages to have a good time despite his ailments.
Interests – Sports (golf, tennis, bowling) as well as rooting for the Philly sports teams and
Eastern, Lehigh, and Villanova Universities’ sports teams; Music (singing,
and I hope to get back to my trumpet; I played in the Eastern College
band many years ago while teaching at Radnor High School); Fixing things
(this probably stems from my background in engineering).
Denominational background – I grew up in the Lutheran Church, but I also attended United Church
of Christ services regularly. Since then, I have attended regularly and/or
been a member of Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Episcopal, Lutheran, and
non-denominational Churches. I am currently a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran
Church in Lionville.
