Research Interests

• Group Representation Theory
• Group Cohomology - in my PhD thesis, I computed the mod-3 cohomology of the O'Nan group (a sporadic simple group). A .dvi version of this thesis is available at Dave Benson's Preprint Archive.

• B.Sc.(Hons), M.Sc. in mathematics from the University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. (Now the University of KwaZulu-Natal)
• Ph.D in mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
